Ingredients
Butter – 1 Tbsp
Onions – 1 medium / 50 gms
Peas – 1 cup or 150 gms
Water – 1.5 cups
Salt to taste
Sugar – 1/2 tsp
Pepper – To Taste
Mint – 2 Tbsp
Cream – 2 Tbsp
Instructions
- In a pan, melt the butter. Add in the onion and saute till they are translucent.
- Add in the peas and water. Bring to a boil , cover and cook till the peas are soft and mushy .
- Switch off the flame and allow to cool.
- Add in the salt, sugar, cream and mint leaves.
- Puree this mixture.
- Add the puree back into the pan , season with pepper and bring to a boil again.
- Serve hot !!
